Well we were sure this was a bit cranky, but we put it to the test and were astounded by the results. It is a portable tape player with three 60-minute cassettes of white noise which is quite indistinguishable to us, but play them to the baby and off they go to sleep. American Baby magazine got so excited they called it a ‘cure’. The white noise calms colicky babies by blocking out noise and other distractions while a comforting hum eases the baby into a sleepy state.
